Provide the athletes with kickballs. Then instruct the athletes to stand four yards apart from each other or a parent. The athletes will then underhand toss the balls to each other using one hand. Be sure the athletes are standing apart enough that the ball will bounce a couple of times before the ‘receiving’ athlete gets the ball. Set up cones in a square for athletes to stay within during exercise. Coaches are looking for athletes to be able to watch the ball from the hand all the way into the hands and body when catching each throw.
